Install & Store setup service

✅ Installation & Setup in 5 Steps


  1. Make the basic connections

    Plug the ZafreyLED SyncBox into a power outlet.
    Connect an HDMI cable from the OUT port of the SyncBox to your TV.

    Connect another HDMI cable from your source device (TV Box, PlayStation, etc.) to the IN port of the SyncBox.

  2. Install the LED strip on the TV

    Attach the LED strip around the TV screen, starting from the right side.

    Plug the strip into the LED STRIP port on the SyncBox.

    If you have additional light bars, connect them to the LIGHT BAR port.

  3. Set up with the Smart Life app

    Download Smart Life from the App Store or Google Play.

    Open the app, tap Add Device, and select the SyncBox when it appears.

  4. Calibrate the LED strip

    In the app, go to Settings → LED Stripe Install Test.

    The LEDs will light up: Red (left), Green (top/bottom), Blue (right).

    Adjust until the colors match the correct sides of the screen.

  5. Customize lighting effects

    In the app, open the Ambilight tab.

    Adjust responsiveness (Low / Medium / High) and brightness.

    Choose your mode:

    Video (for movies and TV),

    Music (syncs with music),

    WideFilm (optimized for full-screen movies).

Yes, the console is compatible with all consoles. Simply connect your consoles with an HDMI cable to enjoy.

What types of video formats does Sync Box support for 4K and 8K resolutions?

The HDMI 2.1 - 8K Sync Box supports video formats up to 8K at 60Hz and 4K at 60Hz, in addition to being compatible with the HDMI 2.1 standard. This means it's designed to be compatible with current and future HDMI content.

The HDMI 2.0 - 4K Sync Box, on the other hand, supports formats up to 4K at 60Hz thanks to its compatibility with the HDMI 2.0 standard. It's also capable of handling resolutions up to 1440p at 120Hz.

What types of multimedia devices are compatible with Sync Box?

The ZafreyLED Sync Box is compatible with all devices equipped with an HDMI connection. To synchronize the LEDs with the TV image, you need to connect an HDMI source to the Sync Box using an HDMI cable (provided).

However, even without an HDMI input, you can still use other features, such as custom lighting, preset scenes, and syncing the lights to music via the built-in microphone.

Built-in Smart TV apps, such as those used for streaming, are not directly supported because their signal does not travel through an HDMI cable.

Is the Sync Box compatible with the latest game consoles?

Yes, the Storyled Sync Box is compatible with the latest game consoles.

The 4K HDMI 2.0 Sync Box supports resolutions up to 4K at 60Hz and 1440p at 120Hz.
The 8K HDMI 2.1 Sync Box supports resolutions up to 8K at 60Hz and 4K at 60Hz.
If a format larger than these specifications is used, it will automatically adjust to the supported resolution, allowing your devices to remain synchronized.

Is the Sync Box compatible with video projectors and soundbars/home theater systems?

Yes, the Sync Box is compatible with video projectors and soundbars/home theater systems, as long as they are connected via an HDMI cable.

Soundbars or home theater systems connected directly to the TV via Bluetooth will remain compatible, as the audio signal does not depend on the Sync Box. The LED synchronization function will continue to work perfectly with the image transmitted via HDMI.

Can I use the Sync Box on a colored wall?

Yes, the Sync Box can be used on a colored wall. The lighting effects will be identical, but to ensure optimal color reproduction, it is recommended to increase the LED brightness to maximum. This will compensate for the impact of the wall color on light reflection.
